DMB show is great but also comes with typical crowd
A big highlight was the horn section from the opening band "Dumpstaphunk" join them for a few songs and they absolutely blew the roof off MSG. While MSG did require/check vaccine cards on the way in, there was very little mask wearing inside (it was not required). Dave had a lot of energy on stage which he somehow maintained for the entire 3 hours. They have a large catalog of songs to pull from and you get a unique setlist every night making it possible to see multiple shows and not get repeated songs. The cover of Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" was really fun as well. Tonight's selection was great, and it was a blast. I do want to point out a few negatives though that probably are out of DMB's control. The crowd was generally fun/friendly but I did have the obligatory drunk guy next to me (unmasked) telling me how great this all was and I saw someone passed out being carried out. Overall it was a great show and we enjoyed it. If being around 1000's of people without masks is a problem for you, then you'll want to stay away. We kept ours on but there was a good amount of vaping and smoking of "other" things, and we had to politely say "no thanks" a few times as it was passed our way.
